Hi, Beauties ♥
During the Christmas season I know we all love to visit different places for our holiday fix.
Here are a list of events/activities in the Philadelphia area.
- Christmas Village in Philly – is at the iconic Love Park which has over 100 vendors set up in wooden rustic cottages. Offering local and international gifts. Right across the street is City Hall which has a double-decker Carousel, Ferris wheel and a Kids train. There is also a German food court with a variety of treats.
- LumiNature at the Philadelphia Zoo – featuring more than a million twinkling lights across 16 illuminated zones. Snap a selfie in front of a 22 foot-tall butterfly tree covered with 4,00 butterflies and a 40 foot-tall penguin glowing with 40,000 lights. You can also check out a new sparkling light waterfall and performers dress in glowing animal costumes.
- Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest – Olympic size skating rink with a warm, ski chalet style lodge with seasonal food & drinks. You can take photos by the festive holiday tree and play games on the boardwalk. Plus there are two spectacular fireworks displays on New Year’s Eve.
- Miracle on 13th Street – Neighbors on this South Philly block has set up an elaborate display along the street. Take a stroll on this block to see each home decked-out decorations from twinkle lights to elaborate movie themed displays. This looks like a great place to take pictures.
- The Comcast Holiday Spectacular– is a 15 minute free family friendly show featuring a sleigh ride around the world and through Philadelphia. A wonderful performance from the Pennsylvania Ballet and a sing a long to holiday classics.
