Hi My Beauties

We are in the home stretch now. There is just 4 more days until Christmas and I didn’t post any of my Christmas decoration. Me and my daughter had a good time decorating the house for Christmas. Check out the pictures and video below.

Blogmas 2016 Day 6

Hi My Beauties

Lets talk about how to get into the Christmas spirit by staying upbeat and positive.

First thing you can do is put on your favorite Christmas carols, pour yourself a nice glass of wine/beer and start putting up your decorations.  Next thing you can do is bake christmas cookies, fix your favorite meal or invite friends over for cocktails.

You can drive around your neighborhood searching for the best Christmas lights or stay inside watching your favorite Christmas movies.  You can volunteer at a homeless shelter or give to a toy drive.

Whatever you choose to do make sure you’re doing it with a smile and remember… Happiness is a choice, so choose to be happy.

Blogmas Day 5

Hi, My Beauties

I hope all is well on this journey called life. I would like to talk about what Christmas means to me.

Christmas means a number of things to me. When I was little it was all about Santa, snow, presents and no school. Now that I’m older it’s more about the time I spend with the special people in my life.

This will be my second Christmas without my mom and it’s not the easiest thing to deal with. It just reminds me to cherish what I have and spend my time wisely on things I love.

What I love most about Christmas is all the wonderful Hallmark movies about Hope, Love and Miracles. I can spend a whole day curled up with my favorite throw and a mug of hot chocolate.

1. What is your favorite Christmas Film?

I would have to say A miracle on 34th Street and Home Alone2.

2. Have you ever had a White Christmas?

Yes, the one I remember the most I was a little kid and I went out to play in the snow.

3. Where do you usually spend your holiday?

At home with my daughter watching the Disney Christmas parade.

4. What is your favorite Christmas Song?

Let it snow by Boys 2 Men.

5. Do you open any present on Christmas Eve?

No, I usually wait until Christmas morning.

6. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer?

Donner, Dasher, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid,Blitzen, Dancer and Rudolf the red nose reindeer.

7. What Holiday Traditions are you looking forward to most this year?

Probably decoration the tree and listening to Christmas music.

8. Is your Christmas tree real or fake?

Fake. Ive had the same Christmas tree for ten years now.

9. What is your all- time favorite Holiday food/sweet treat?

Candy canes and the Christmas hard candy.

Blogmas Day 3

Hi Beauties

Here is a list of my favorite 12 movies for Christmas. I hope you have seen some of these movies or will get to them before the holiday season is over.

  1. A Miracle on 34th street with Dylan Mcdermott & Mara Wilson.  I watch this movie every year. Sometimes even in July. It just gives me a good feeling in my soul.
  2. The Preacher Wife with Whitney Houston & Denzel Washington. This movie has great actors and really good music. I love the soundtrack to this movie.
  3. Jingle All The Way with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
  4. Home Alone 1 & 2 with Macaulay Culkin.
  5. Elf with Will Ferrell
  6. The Last Holiday with Queen Latifah & LL Cool J
  7. The Best Man Holiday with Morris Chestnut. What more can I say mmm mmm good.
  8. The Santa Clause 1 & 2 with Tim Allen
  9. The Family Man with Nicholas Cage
  10. A Diva’s Christmas Carol with Vanessa Williams.
  11. This Christmas with Idris Elba & Chris Brown. My mom’s favorite movie that she would watch all the time. Maybe because of all the yummy men.
  12. Borrowed Hearts with Roma Downey & Eric McCormack. This movie should be up there with the top three but I saved the best for last. This is a must if you are a sappy person like me.

I wish I could post more movies but I’m keeping up with the 12 days of Christmas tradition.

Blogmas Day 2

Hi Beauties

I want to keep up with the tradition of 12 days of Christmas. Here are 12 things I would like to do or want for the Holiday season.

  1. I want a red Keurig to match the theme of my kitchen.
  2. I would like to visit the original Serendipity store in NYC. I made an attempt to go when I was in Las Vegas but it was a rundown diner.
  3. I want to visit the Plaza hotel & Central Park in NYC. There is something about NY in December.
  4. I brought myself Clinique perfume Happy which I just receive today. Yayyy!
  5. I want a starter makeup kit from Sephora.
  6. I want to donate a toy to a charitable organization.
  7. I want to watch Nexflix and chill.
  8. I want to go to a nice New Years Eve party with open bar and food.
  9. I would like a Kiss from a man I never met.
  10. I want a Christmas bathing suit for my turtle Phil. I know she wouldn’t like that but she would look so cute.
  11. I would like to go Caroling.
  12. This is the most important thing I want for Christmas. I want Good Health. I made a commitment to do some form of exercise every day in December.
