A Love Story
Its been a month since the conference and I will be flying down there next weekend to see him. He’s been sending tulips and roses to my job & home every week. I especially like the sunflowers I received just this morning with a bunch of gift cards to my favorite stores. It shows that he really pays attention to my needs and likes.
We have Skyped, video chat and face-timed each other everyday. We spend hours on the phone throughout the day. I never met a man that loved to talk just as much as I do. It’s been great getting to know each other.
“Hi Beautiful, how was you day?”
“My day was good, How was yours?”
“Mine was great, can’t wait until you get down here next week. I have a couple of surprises for you. I wish you could stay longer than 4 days.
“(Name), I will see you the following weekend in Philly. How long will you be able to stay?”
“I can only stay a couple of days. I’m trying to land that big development job on the West Coast. Remember the one I told you about last night. Well I got the call today and the meeting is in two weeks.”
“I’m excited for you sweetie.”
“Be excited for us, Baby. I have big plans for you and me but now I have to go because I have a conference call in five minutes. I will face-time you later because I need to see your pretty face.”
“OK sweetie can’t wait.”
After I got off the phone I couldn’t help but wonder, What big plans does he have for us?
He doesn’t know how excited I am to see him. I think it’s better if I let him do the chasing because I already know what I want. I just need him to be sure it’s me.
Can’t wait to see my soulmate, my king, (Name).
