Hi, My Beauties

Christmas is not complete without seeing all the wonderful Holiday movies out there.

Here is a list of my all time favorite Holiday movies that I watch every year during this season.

A Miracle on 34th street with Dylan Mcdermott & Mara Wilson
. I really love this movie. It leaves a warm & fuzzy feeling in my soul.

The Best Man Holiday with Morris Chestnut & Nia Long
. I cry every time I watch.

The Preacher Wife with Whitney Houston & Denzel Washington
. I love the actors and soundtrack to this movie.

Elf with Will Ferrell.
This movie is so funny, I can watch this throughout the year.

The Family Man with Nicholas Cage
. Who doesn’t love a movie that shows you what life would have been like had you chosen a different route.

This Christmas with Idris Elba & Chris Brown.
My mom’s favorite movie. She loved the music and all the yummy men in it.

Home Alone 1 & 2 with Macaulay Culkin.
These movies inspired me go to New York to visit the Plaza Hotel and FAO Schwartz Toy Store.

Borrowed Hearts with Roma Downey & Eric McCormack.
This is a must see if you are a cry baby like me.

There’s my list! I hope you take some time this Holiday season to view all of these movies. You will not be disappointed. So grab yourself a cup of hot chocolate and snuggle up with a cozy blanket and enjoy.

P.S.  Let’s not forgot that Hallmark, Lifetime, Netflix and Amazon Prime have a ton of new Christmas movies this year. 🙂

What Christmas Means To Me – Blogmas 2021 Day 5

Hi, My Beauties

I would like to talk about what Christmas & the Holiday season means to me. Since my mom’s passing in 2014, it feels very different. Even though my mom wasn’t always in the Christmas spirit, she would always buy gifts for me, my sister and her grandchildren. I sure do miss her fussing. 🙂

I believe Christmas is about giving what you can spare and volunteering to help others. This year, I’m serving my community with some Holiday kindness by:

        • donating from my kitchen to a local food pantry
        • giving gift cards to strangers while out and about
        • putting together Christmas baskets to give away randomly

Love Bath & Body Works candles!

Outside of my service, I’m most excited about relaxing at home, listening to Christmas music and cooking my favorite meals. I still love a good ole Hallmark Christmas movie. Also, shopping for candles, decorations and gifts to cozy up my home.

What I love most about Christmas is creating happy memories to look back on and spending time with my loved ones. This Holiday season is going to be great because I believe it will be. Happiness is a choice and I choose to be happy enjoying life and being grateful for what I have.

What does Christmas mean to you, My Beauties?

Random Acts of Kindness – Blogmas 2021 Day 2

Hello Beauties!

Let’s have a discussion about Random Acts of Kindness, which can be done throughout the whole year. This December, I am sharing with you my Random Acts of Holiday Kindness and I would love for you to join me.

“What is Random Acts of Kindness?”, you ask. It’s bringing joy and happiness to someone’s life unexpectedly through a small gesture.

Here are a few R. A. O. K. examples:

  1. Buy someone a cup of coffee
  2. Donate a grocery basket to a family
  3. Pay for someone’s meal at a restaurant
  4. Give essential workers a gift card
  5. Donate to a toy drive

As you can see it doesn’t take much to show kindness to someone. The holiday season is about spreading love, peace and joy. So as you go about your days during the month of December don’t forget to show kindness to someone.

Until next time…Enjoy Life 🙂

I didn’t see how attractive & handsome he was.  He walk over trying to tell a little joke and I look at him like he was crazy. He came across cocky & arrogant but sexy as hell.  Of course I said something sarcastic back to him. We would go at it during the course of the day. Continue reading “Daydream Series: Chapter 1”

I woke up the next morning feeling excited and nervous. I got dressed and headed downstairs for breakfast.  As I looked around, I made eye contact with him.
